The Canadian Mineral Processors Conference takes place each year in January in Ottawa.

This is CMP’s flagship technical meeting, where operators gather to share solutions, discuss emerging technologies, and network. The conference offers a robust technical program covering essential topics such as flotation, gold and iron processing, and mill optimization, complemented by specialized short courses. 

Beyond the technical sessions, the event is a major networking hub featuring an awards gala, student mixers, and unique social activities like the Ray MacDonald Memorial Hockey Game and a morning run on the Rideau Canal. The 59th Annual Annual Canadian Mineral Processors Conference is scheduled to take place from January 19-21, 2027.
