Student Rate for CMP Conference

The student rate for students is $45. Students can attend all social events and the student program.

CMP Sponsored Student Program

Each year, CMP sponsors two students from every university with a mineral processing program to attend our conference, covering travel and accommodation via a localized travel bursary. Guided by the Second Vice Chair and CanmetMINING experts, students assist with AV support while gaining valuable industry exposure.

The week kicks off Monday with training and a networking mixer, followed by a schedule of duties and conference sessions from Tuesday through Thursday. Highlights include the Chairman’s reception—featuring a networking scavenger hunt—and the Wednesday night banquet where students are officially recognized. The week concludes with a celebratory appreciation lunch on Thursday.

This program is made possible by our corporate sponsors, whom we proudly recognize throughout the event for their vital investment in the next generation.
