Eligibility Awarded to a graduate student (M.Sc. or PhD candidate) in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan whose research is relevant to the resource industry in Saskatchewan, with a preference to the mining industry. Preference is also given to students working on Saskatchewan-based projects. Although there is no formal application process, students under consideration for the award may be contacted for CVs., as selected by the faculty contact in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan, and approved by the department head. The selected individual has to give a presentation on their research to the CIM Saskatoon Geosection at one of their lunchtime meetings.
