Scholarship standing is the principal requirement governing the scholarship but preference will be given to a student who displays outstanding character and has demonstrated financial need. The scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards acting on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Earth Sciences. No application required; recipient must have declared a major in Earth Sciences.
