Mentorship

CIM, in collaboration with the OneCIM Steering Committee and the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining at Queen’s University, is implementing a mentorship pilot program. The aim of this program is to help Queen’s students prepare for leadership roles and establish a strong network before they enter the industry.

For students or faculty at mining schools across Canada interested in getting involved with the program, or industry professionals who would like to become mentors, please contact Elaine Kinsella, Constituent Services Coordinator at CIM National by email or by phone at (514)-939-2710 ext. 1312.

A CIM membership can help enhance your professional profile, develop your business network and build your company’s profile. The Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum offers multiple membership types, with different levels of engagement to meet any mining industry professional’s business needs and career goals.

CIM really provides those amazing personal and professional development opportunities. I’ve been able to increase my network and build a profile not only for myself but for my company. You know, Golder has been a Corporate Member of CIM for well over 20 years.
