David Stein, CFA, MSc, recently founded Aerecura Capital, a natural resources investment services company based in Toronto. David is also a director and consultant to Aberdeen International Inc., where he manages the Ore Acquisition Partners, LP, a private equity mining fund initiated by Aberdeen and Landmark Advisors in 2015. Until August 2016, David was president and CEO of Aberdeen, overseeing all investment activities for the company, including sourcing, diligence and completing new acquisitions; executing dozens of transactions over seven years covering private and public mining equities, debt and royalties. Prior to joining Aberdeen in 2009, he was a mining analyst and director with Cormark Securities, a leading Canadian independent broker-dealer and its predecessor Sprott Securities.
