Anne Gent works for Cameco Corporation as a senior environmental scientist within the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality department in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Since joining Cameco in 2007, Gent has worked in a variety of roles at both the Key Lake operation and her current position in the head corporate office. Prior to Cameco, she spent several years working in various areas including environmental research, consulting and regulatory compliance. She is actively involved on a variety of committees and currently serves on the board of the Society of Toxicologists and Chemists – Prairie Northern Chapter, Women in Nuclear Canada and she is the co-chair of Women in Mining/Women in Nuclear Saskatchewan.

Gent holds a BSc in Land Use and Environmental Studies from the University of Saskatchewan and has been active in encouraging sustainable practices through volunteer work in both Thailand and Australia.
