CIM Magazine recognized for editorial achievements

We strive to produce informative, engaging editorial at CIM Magazine and that work was honoured once again this year. Antoine Dion-Ortega and Pierrick Blin’s story “High and dry,” a focus on how miners are tapping the oceans to meet water their water needs, earned recognition from the Canadian Business Press’ Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. In addition, the features “No Safety in numbers,” where Correy Baldwin looks at the evolving approaches to working with and beside artisanal and small-scale miners, and Eavan Moore’s story on innovations in mineral processing “Breaking down comminution” both won accolades from Trade Association Business Publications International, which has recognized CIM Magazine editorial three years in a row.
