Tad Crowie graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2001, with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering. Crowie started his career at Barrick Gold working at Hemlo in Marathon, Ontario. After Hemlo, Crowie went on to work for Taseko at Gibraltar and then the Merit Mining Greenwood Gold project. In 2009, he joined Gekko Systems. 

In 2010, he went to work for Thompson Creek’s Endako mine. After Endako, Crowie started consulting where he worked on projects which included the Twin Metals feasibility study and a site-based trial for FEI. He is currently the senior metallurgist at Goldcorp’s Red Lake mine.
