Greg Romain has 35 years of experience in the mining industry and is currently a consultant with DRA Global and Wabi Iron & Steel. He served as president & CEO of Gowest Gold Ltd., where he advanced the Bradshaw gold project from exploration to a fully permitted mine site. Prior to Gowest, Romain was with Norcast Castings Inc. and Norcast Income Fund, where he held several roles, culminating as president & CEO. Romain has served on the boards of Gowest Gold Ltd., Norcast Income Fund, Ardiden Limited, and MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd.

A long-time member of CIM and of the Canadian Mineral Processing Society of CIM (CMP) National, Romain was president of the CMP Toronto Branch and helped establish both the CMP East/West annual hockey game and the CMP/CIM annual golf tournament.

Romain holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering Technology from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and completed the Executive Program at Queen’s University.
