Annabelle Rioux graduated from the School of Management Sciences at the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2011. She began her career at Agnico Eagle's Meadowbank mine in Nunavut, then worked as a human resources advisor at the Goldex and Laronde mining sites. In 2017, she joined Eldorado Gold Quebec to participate in the startup of the Lamaque Complex, where she was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2024.
Annabelle has also been active in the Val-d'Or community, notably as a member of the executive committee of ICM Val-d'Or for nine years, including three years as president. She was president of the Kiwanis-Lemieux Club in 2019. Annabelle embodies the values of leadership, commitment, and dedication, making her an inspiring figure in the mining industry and within her local community.
