The CIM Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) will take place in person at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The meeting will feature a brief summary of the Institute’s activities over the past year, the presentation of the audited financial statements, the instalment of the incoming presidential slate, and the presentation of the 2025 Annual Report. The CIM General Operating By-Law No. 2 will also be presented for approval at the AGM; it has been circulated for public consultation through December 2025, and the feedback received was considered and incorporated as appropriate.

Members will have the opportunity to vote on the motions tabled and to pose questions.
