Capital Projects Symposium 2025

08 October 2025

Explore risk, value and the next generation of mines

CIM’s Capital Projects Symposium (CPS) is the only global industry event that focuses 100% on mining projects. It is organized by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metalurgy and Petroleum (CIM) in partnership with its Management and Economics Society (MES).

CPS 2025 is focused on the key elements that result in successful project execution, project development, financing methods and execution methods.

The fifth edition of CPS will take place November 4–6, 2025, at the Centre Mont-Royal, marking the event’s first time in Montreal.

Following the success of CPS 2024, which welcomed over 200 participants from six countries, CPS 2025 will examine the elements that underpin successful project execution, development, and financing, with a focus on risk, value, and the next generation of mines.

Two days, four sessions, 15 presentations, and six keynotes: CPS 2025 offers a full picture of the technical, financial, and operational forces driving today’s mining projects.
