Since 1996, CIM’s Management and Economics Society (MES) has conducted surveys of the mining industry’s practices related to economic evaluations and the selection and use of discount rates.
The intent of the present survey is to identify current industry practice (as opposed to theory) by polling persons working in the mining industry (in projects, operations, consultancies, financial institutions, and engineering firms). You are invited to share your experience.
