Carol Damiani has been in the business events industry for most of her professional career and has managed conferences ranging from a few hundred delegates to as many as 12,000. She started her career in the hotel industry and then moved to a professional conference organizer, to not-for-profit national and international associations as well as worked for the Montreal convention centre. For the past 11 years, she promoted Montreal as a destination for business events and managed two teams at Tourisme Montréal that were instrumental in developing and servicing the international convention market.
At CIM, she will work with the Events team on delivering successful events, bringing innovation and sustainable practices to the CIM programs and increasing the number of international conferences to host in the future.
