March 24, 2020, Montréal, Québec. In accordance with and respect to the recent announcement by the Québec provincial government regarding the closure of all non-essential businesses, the CIM National office is closed effective 5:00 PM today, March 24, 2020. 

As of early last week, we have provided staff with the tools to work remotely. Rest assured that our staff will remain accessible and we will continue to provide full support and service to our members, constituents and the community-at-large.

CIM is fully committed to the health and safety of our community, and we respect and will abide by the provincial government’s decision in the hope that this strong approach to the pandemic will “flatten the curve” and slow the spread of COVID-19. 

We offer our heartfelt gratitude to the workers who continue to provide essential services to all Canadians. Thank you.
