
CIM Fellowship
Tony Lipiec graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering. He has worked continuously in the industry since 1985 gaining experience in operations across Canada, process development work on a multitude of projects for BHP-Billiton, construction in Canada, Africa and Russia, and consulting on projects around the world. For the past ten years, Lipiec has worked as a consulting engineer with AMEC in Toronto and Vancouver. His special area of interest is projects in cold weather climates. He helped develop the Best Practices in Mineral Processing Guidelines for CIM in 2010.
