Title: Barkerville Gold Mines: Exploration and Development in the Cariboo Gold District

Date: March 17th, 2015

Location: Fairmont Waterfront

Reception Start Time: 3:00pm

Presentation Start Time: ~3:45pm

Bio: Paul has more than 20 years exploration and development experience in Canada and the United States, with a strong background in delineating structurally complex gold deposits and building mineable resources in a cost-effective and timely manner. Mr. Geddes has held various roles with major and junior mining companies, including Noranda, Teck, INCO, North American Palladium and Rainy River Resources.

Abstract: From the time of the 1861 Gold Rush, the Cariboo Gold Belt has produced in excess of 3.8 million ounces of gold from placer and hard-rock mining activities. Today, the Cariboo region is one of Canada’s last great under-explored gold districts.

Barkerville Gold Mines is currently developing three projects within the Cariboo gold district, located around the Historic Barkerville Town Site. Mining of high-grade material at Barkerville Mountain project has been ongoing since 2014, along with exploration of the Cow Mountain and Island Mountain deposits.
