Join lecturer Mauro Chiesa

Mauro Chiesa is a semi-retired advisor with 36 years of financing and advisory services in the fields of extractive and infrastructure projects. This has included four years in Ottawa with Export Development Canada (EDC), 13 years in NYC with two international banks specialised in industrial finance, 10 years with the World Bank Group, primarily with IFC, and 10 years as an independent advisor and consultant, in Vancouver, while care-giving for two parents. Chiesa has an MBA and a BA from UBC in Vancouver. He was born in Italy, came to Canada at the age of eight and grew up in BC. He is fluent in three languages.
