Conservation of Natural Gas

CIM Bulletin1934
THE pages that follow present a brief chronological survey of views which have been held, and of legislation enacted, for the regulation of the natural gas and ail industry in the Turner Valley field, especially as regards conservation of the natural gas. To provide a necessary background for an adequate understanding of the progress of events in western Canada, there is included also a compilation, from technical and legal authorities, of some of the more important measures which have been adopted for the regulation of the oil and gas fields of the United States, where these measures have had, or are likely to have, a bearing on the course of our domestic industry.
