The Geological Survey of Canada

IT is not my purpose, in this address, to write the history of the Geological Survey of Canada, which has from time to time be en reviewed by the officers of the Survey itself, and by men more competent than myself to handle so large a subject, but rather to set out some of the reasons for the regard in which the Survey is held by our Institute, the body best qualified to speak for the mining men of Canada.
