Some Accident Hazards and Preventive Measures at Mines

THE following safety precautions have of late been taken by several of the Ontario mines: installation of water cross-overs; washing clown of faces to show-up missed holes; insistence on gloves being worn as a protection to men's hands; wearing of safety boots and hats by underground men; and wearing of goggles by ail men using hammers, starting holes, etc.
