CIM Bulletin1929
IN the amount of her coal reserves, Saskatchewan ranks third among the provinces of the Dominion, with a total, as estimated by D. B. Dowling (1), of 59,812,000,000 tons . All the coal so far discovered in the Province is lignite, and it would appear unlikely that bituminous or higher grade coals exist.
