Asbestos Milling and Dressing for the Market

CIM Bulletin1928
THE serpentine of the Eastern Townships of Quebec is more or less seamed and impregnated with chrysotile asbestos, of which we note two types: the cross-fibre and the disseminated fibre. The cross-fibre type al ways appears in fibres or crystals arranged parallel to one another, and disposed at right angles to the walls of the matrix serpentine.
