CMIC executive director search

The Canada Mining Innovation Council is searching for a new executive director to replace the current director who will retire at the end of March 2013. The selected individual will be a good communicator, a strong leader, and have a degree in exploration, mining, geology, metallurgy or other mining-related discipline. He/she should have extensive experience in R&D involving industry, academia and government, research-funding mechanisms, and a strong knowledge of the challenges facing the Canadian mining industry.
