Taking Flight Award - Description
New for 2009!
This award recognizes Aboriginal high school and post-secondary students who wish to pursue a career in mining. With start-up funding from De Beers Canada and Diavik Diamond Mines Inc. (part of the Rio Tinto group), this scholarship award will honour four exceptional students from across Canada annually with $1,000 prizes.
