CIM is Canada's leading association of professionals who manage or work in any area of the resource industries including exploration, mining, milling or smelting operations.

It is made up of 12,000 individual and 200 corporate members. Presently there are 1,000 student members. The members meet at national, sector and local meetings to exchange technical, business and management knowledge about the industry. The network CIM provides is an important asset in their professional lives. For students it can open doors to career opportunities, during and after university.
