The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), together with McGill University of Montréal and Queen's University of Kingston (Ontario), are delighted to bring the 9th International Symposium in Mining with Backfill to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from April 29-May 2, 2007.

The theme of the Minefill2007 Symposium will be "Innovations and Experience in Minefill Design", a theme that is very appropriate to Canada, which is one of the leading nations in the development of mining technology and mining activity.
