Management and Economics Society - Terms of Reference
1. To act for the Institute in the development and transmission of information on mineral economics among members and to interested outside organizations. Activities will complement and be coordinated with those of all Institute Societies/Divisions.
2. To encourage the development of expertise in the field of mineral economics within the Institute and, in doing so, encourage a fuller interdisciplinary approach and sensitivity to broad mineral issues among members of the Institute.
3. To provide a focal point within the Institute for those members in industry, government and universities whose professional responsibilities or interests pertain to mineral economics.
4. To develop plans and undertake activities related to these goals by means of seminars, papers, special sessions, courses, etc.
