CIM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
... lifelong learning with CIM
The Institutes Professional Development Program (PDP) is an extensive library of courses, seminars and workshops, offered in person, and on-line. This material has been developed and the courses peer-reviewed by CIM members.
The courses, seminars and workshops are designed for those working in exploration, mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, and related industries. Training topics cover a wide range of technical and business subjects. If required, a program can be developed to meet a new or specific need.
On-line courses vary in length and can be taken at your own pace. In-person sessions are usually offered at a CIM meeting, but can be arranged to be held by a facilitator at your office or site, or other selected location. Typically sessions last from two to four days, or less at conferences, minimizing time away from work.
CIM on-line courses, offered in association with EduMine
CIM online courses are offered in association with EduMine. Participate in a course in your own time, at your own pace, from any convenient location, without any deadlines for completion. Participants may also obtain continuing education credit (CEU) units by taking these CIM certified courses.
