Centennial Scholarship
Undergraduate, non-renewable scholarship of $1998.00 payable in 2 equal portions in September and the following January of the year awarded upon successful completion of the first term. Open to any CIM National member or the son, daughter or spouse of a CIM National member who is currently enrolled in a post secondary educational institution to study in the M/E disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Chemical, Computer Sciences, Material Sciences, Manufacturing and related disciplines) with the intent of pursuing a career in the mining industry.

The JD (Pat) Patterson Memorial Scholarship
Post Secondary Entrance, non-renewable scholarship of $1500.00 payable in 2 equal portions in September and the following January of the year awarded upon successful completion of the first term. Open to any son or daughter of a CIM National member entering a post secondary educational institution to study in the Maintenance/Engineering disciplines (see above) with the intent of pursuing a career in the mining industry.

Required Application Information for both Scholarships:

• Scholarship applied for, applicant's name, address, telephone number, applicant's, parent's or spouse's CIM membership number, name of post secondary institution where enrolled and department head's name, address, telephone and fax number, transcript of high school and post secondary institution marks, graduating high school's and principal's name, address, telephone and fax number, personal information including extracurricular activities, community involvement and an essay stating why the applicant is considering a career in the mining industry.
