The Flin Flon Mine : Geology and Paragenesis of the Ore Deposit

THE Flin Flon mine is located on the boundary line between the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan at a point about four hundred miles northwest of Winnipeg. A branch of the Canadian National railway provides the town of Flin Flon with direct transportation facilities. The property was staked in 1914 and, after a considerable amount of exploration, the Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Company was organized and brought the property into production in November, 1930
