Abstract With an aging workforce and significant knowledge loss on the horizon, mining companies will need to think of innovative ways to recruit, retain and develop a skilled workforce. The presentation will cover innovative practices at Teck Resources related to preparing employees for more senior roles within the company. The session will also focus on strategies to increase success and mitigate risks when transitioning employees between operations.
