Local Branches bring members together in community-based activities and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and fellowship. Branches are grouped into Districts by CIM, six within Canada. Each District is represented by a District Vice-President who sits on the CIM Council. There is also an overseas Branch represented by a Vice-President International (a new position taking effect as of May 2001).
