Firefly metals is an emerging copper-gold, explorer-developer in Newfoundland Labrador which is currently advancing the high-grade Green Bay Copper Gold project and exploring the Pickle Crow Gold Project in Ontario. Firefly is a publicly listed company, with its registered office located in Mings Bight NL. 

Firefly Metals plans to reopen the Ming Mine and significantly scale up from its previous operations by unlocking an additional copper deposit.  Overall, the project has the potential to produce 50,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate annually at a production rate estimated from 5000 tpd to 8,500 tpd. In October 2023, the company commenced drilling and development onsite to demonstrate the larger resources available to underscore a larger operation. Initial drilling results are expected by May 2024.
