MetSoc Masters Student Scholarship

March 1 Full-time masters students in their first year of study who are pursuing degrees in metallurgy, materials engineering or related fields. Nominees must have been MetSoc-CIM members for a period of at least six months at the time of nomination. The student is expected to retain his or her status as a graduate student through to September of the year for which the award is being given.  Nominations must be submitted by the Department Chair.

October 31 This scholarship is open to any CIM National member or the son, daughter or spouse of a CIM National member enrolled at any Canadian university whose current project, research or thesis has been or is related to maintenance and reliability issues in the mining industry. Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Community involvement and extracurricular activities should be highlighted.
