Calling all mining engineering, exploration and geology students - here's your opportunity to receive recognition for your dedication and hard work!

The Canadian Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Foundation (CMMPF) is committed to ensuring a strong future for the mining, metallurgical and petroleum industries through incentives to support and promote education. In an effort to encourage young people to pursue careers in the minerals and related industries, CIMF has established two scholarship programs: the Caterpillar Inc. and its Canadian Dealers Scholarship and the Scotiabank and Scotia Capital Markets Scholarship.

The CIMF is offering two $2,000 awards to outstanding undergraduate students in the fields of mining engineering, exploration and geology across Canada. Applications must be submitted by April 15th. The scholarship winners will be announced by July 1st, and the scholarships will be awarded by September 1st of each year. An announcement about the winners will appear in the CIM Bulletin.

The CIMF finances the educational initiatives of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), Canada's leading professional association for the mining, minerals and energy industries.
