Petroleum Society - Terms of Reference

1. To promote the arts and sciences connected with the exploration, production, transportation, and marketing of oil and gas through meetings for reading and discussion of technical papers and through distribution and publication of technical papers, including publication of the Journal of Canadian Petroleum Technology.

2. To take concerted action on such matters as affect the oil and gas industry of Canada.

3. To encourage and promote the oil and gas industry by all lawful and honorable means.
