SOCIETIES Metal Mining Society - Terms of Reference The mandate of the Metal Mining Division is as follows:1. Assist and promote continued growth of mining in Canada. 2. Promote, encourage, and provide financial support for research, education, and technical advancement in all areas of the mining industry. 3. Facilitate exchange of information and data on all subjects related to the mining industry. 4. Educate the public and relevant government agencies on the many aspects of the mining industry, including our long-standing commitment to protection of the environment. 5. Promote the mining industry as a positive, growing, dynamic profession with many career opportunities for young Canadians. |
