CIM MES Vancouver is pleased to present:

Gianni Kovacevic Modern Energy Thinker, Investor and Author
Executive Chairman of CopperBank Corp.

who will deliver a presentation on:

The Changing Energy Mix - Understanding the Winners and Loser, and the Role of Metals in Miners in the Upcoming Shifts

Abstract: Gianni Kovacevic's soon to be published book, My Electrician Drives A Porsche? Investing in the Rise of the New Spending Class, highlights the fast pace with which emerging markets continue to increase their economic footprint, and the driver of basic human progress: energy. His paper on the changing energy mix will offer valuable insights as to why metals and miners are bound to play a critical role in de-carbonizing energy.

Perhaps the most contested factor with greener and cleaner energy is timeline. He continues to provide hard evidence that the future is indeed now. Better put, some of the renewable energy ideas that were science fiction fads twenty years ago, and even five years ago, have given way to incredible technological advances supported by metals.

The caption from the back cover of his book hopefully captures the imagination of potential readers, both technical and otherwise:

A weekend service call changes the life of Doc Anderson forever. Johnny, the surprisingly wealthy energy whiz-kid, introduces Doc to a compelling new investment theme - following the rise of a new spending class. As they set course on a fact-filled adventure, Doc’s eyes are opened to the impact that billions of new consumers will have on our environment and how their entrance to our fast-changing world will figure into the economy of the future. Through this journey, he too becomes a hyper-aware participant in the boundless opportunities for responsible wealth creation with his new-found knowledge base in what makes realistic environmentalism possible.

During his presentation, Gianni will bring these ideas and concepts to life in a way everyone will fully understand and hopefully echo across all sectors in support of the mining industry.

Details of Gianni's book launch with Leah Costello at The Vancouver Club on February 9th:   https://www.gifttool.com/registrar/ShowEventDetails?ID=2156&EID=21409
