Better maintenance of belt conveyors through good design

Abstract Good belt conveyor design is the most often neglected detail in the engineering of a plant. This results in downtime from spills or jams and premature failure of equipment components. Careful layout and component selection will result in better operation, a cleaner plant and therefore lower maintenance costs.
