Abstract The Mount Wright iron ore mine and upgrading plant were brought on line in the fall of 1975. The mine is located near the Quebec - Labrador border some six hundred miles northeast of Montreal. This paper describes the crushing, grinding and concentrating facilities at Mount Wright, and some design criteria used in equipment selection and flowsheet design. Also mentioned are some "as-built" modifications. A brief description of the over-all flowsheet is also included.
