Mechanization in Alberta Coal Mines

THE problem of mechanization is one of the most vital in the minds of Alberta coal operators today. In these times of constantly increasing operating .costs, any way of decreasing the cost of a ton of coal must be explored to the limit. There seems no better field for such effort than the successful application of power to the mining and loading of coal.
