Possible Major Structural Control of Ore Deposits Flin Flon-Snow Lake Mineral Belt, Manitoba

CIM Bulletin1951
FIELD PARTIES of the Geological Survey of Canada have, in recent years, mapped several areas east and northeast of Flin Flon (9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 118) (1). In all these areas the mineral deposits show a do.se geographical relation to faults although the immediate control of most of the known ore deposits appears to be folded structures in the rocks (8, 11, 18, 19).
