A Method for Adapting the Ammonia Leaching Process to the Recovery of Copper and Nickel from Sulphide Ore and Concentrate

THE process of extracting and recovering nickel from serpentine and nickeliferous limonites by gaseous reduction and subsequent extraction with an aqueous ammonia solution has been recognized since it was first patented by M. H. Caron in 1924.
