Oil Prospects Along the West Flank of the Turner Valley Gas Field
THE Turner Valley gas-field, situated some thirty miles southwest of Calgary, Alberta, has been the topic of much discussion, particularly from a geological viewpoint. Several papers (1, 2, 3, 4, and 7) dealing with the structural and stratigraphical geology have already been published and are available for reference( l ). In this article, the geological conditions will be treated only as they directly refer to the crude-oil prospects along the west flank of the anticline.
