THE GEOLOGY AND MINERAL DEPOSITS OF THE HARRI CANA W AND BELL RIVER BASINS

CIM Bulletin1927
During the last three years the discovery of gold in the belt of volcanic and sedimentary rocks extending eastward from the Porcupine and Kirkland Lake gold-fields has caused a great deal of excitement in mining circles. The area is heavily drift covered, and every aid to the location of veins is eagerly grasped. A knowledge of the physiographic history of the area is of the utmost importance in the application of many of these aids.
