DEVELOPING ZINC AND LEAD DEPOSITS IN GASPE PENINSULA

One of the oldest settled portions of Canada is that " strip of land" extending into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, known as the Gaspe peninsula, with the Bay of Chaleur on its southern boundary. This "strip of land" is still so very sparcely populated that only at a few places does settlement extend more than a few miles from the coast.
