CIM Montreal 2011
Abstract This presentation will demonstrate, through international and national mining case studies, how sustainability can been successfully embedded in the EIA process through a voluntary process which not only has shed light on potentially “surprise” situations but has added value to an organization’s bottom line. It will conclude by making a number of recommendations, both as regards regulations in Québec and Canada.
