Mining for Diversity is the result of MiHR’s Mining Attraction, Recruitment, and Retention Strategy (MARS). Over 27 mining companies, representing a vast array of mine types, commodities and regions, participated in the research and shared what worked for them in attracting, recruiting and retaining their employees. This session will briefly introduce the Mining for Diversity tool and will highlight several companies who will share their “HR best practices” focusing on Aboriginal People, women, youth and new Canadians.
