Exploring Saskatchewan's Vast Potash Resource

Abstract The current demand for potash has pushed world prices to near record
levels and allowed Saskatchewan producers to operate at maximum
capacity. Several years of strong demand has resulted in a permitting
rush not seen since the 1960's. Even though Saskatchewan has a huge
potash resource, mining and processing constraints will limit the areas
of economic development.
